5 Questions for Jessica Christensen

1. What inspired you to become a recipe developer?

I've always loved cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, so recipe development was a natural fit for me. I also love sharing recipes with others and helping them create delicious meals they can feel proud of.

2. What's your favorite thing to cook at home?

I love to cook anything that is quick and easy. I'm always looking for recipes that can be made in one pot or pan, and I try to use fresh ingredients whenever possible. One of my recent favorites is a One-Pot Chicken and Rice dish that can be made in less than 30 minutes.

3. What's your least favorite food trend?

My least favorite food trend is the rise of fast-casual dining. I don't mind eating out, but I don't like the idea of having to go through a line and order my food like I'm at a cafeteria. I also don't like the way a lot of these places are designed - they're always so noisy and crowded.

4. What's the first legit recipe you cooked?

My first legit recipe was roasted chicken with herbs. I remember being so proud of myself when it came out perfectly cooked! The recipe was simple but required a bit of precision, and I was really happy with the end result.

5. What food or drink are you?

A slice of pizza. I'm simple, classic, and always a good choice.
