Choose the closest substitute from the list based on what you have: smoky/deep (paprika), warm/steely (garam masala), or curry-like (curry powder).
Use the ratio shown for your recipe’s amount of tandoori masala, then mix into your marinade base (yogurt) or into a small amount of oil.
