Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

Equipment

  • Skillet For searing the chicken to golden perfection
  • Mixing Bowl For seasoning the chicken pieces
  • Tongs For flipping the chicken bites while cooking

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken pieces with paprika, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces in a single layer and sear for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
  3. Flip the chicken and cook for another 4-5 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, add butter and minced garlic. Stir to coat the chicken evenly.
  5. Drizzle lemon juice over the chicken and stir one last time before removing from heat.
  6. Serve hot over rice, pasta, or with roasted vegetables.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, let the chicken rest for 2-3 minutes before adding butter.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
