Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice from about 2 oranges
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce

Equipment

  • Skillet For cooking the chicken and glaze
  • Mixing Bowl For preparing the glaze ingredients

Method

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken pieces until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mix orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Pour the mixture into the skillet with the chicken.
  3. Let the glaze simmer, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and coats the chicken, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds or green onions.

Notes

  • For a thicker glaze, mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with a little water and stir it in while simmering.
  • If you prefer a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes or Sriracha.
  • Pairs well with rice, noodles, or roasted vegetables.
