Identify how your dish uses kaffir lime leaf: simmered “leaf in the pot” vs. aroma boost at the end vs. baked flavor.
Choose the closest substitute from the ingredient list and apply the given ratio (use the lower amount for dried leaf; use zest/juice blends when you need brightness).
