Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops about 1 inch thick
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • olive oil spray for air fryer basket

Equipment

  • Air Fryer To cook the pork chops to a crispy, golden finish
  • Shallow bowls For egg and breadcrumb mixtures
  • Meat Thermometer To ensure pork reaches 145°F

Method

  1. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Whisk eggs in a shallow bowl. In another bowl, mix panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Dip each pork chop into the eggs, then press into breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and light spray basket with olive oil spray.
  5. Place pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Let pork chops rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure pork chops are not overcrowded in the air fryer for even cooking.
  • Resting helps retain juices for tender meat.
