Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken thighs or breasts bone-in or boneless
  • cup maple syrup pure, not artificial
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard smooth or grainy
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce adds umami

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic, and soy sauce until smooth.
  3. Place the chicken in the baking dish and pour the sauce over it, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
  4. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes, basting the chicken with sauce halfway through, until fully cooked.
  5. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon extra sauce over the top and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of fresh thyme or rosemary to the sauce.
