1. What inspired you to start working in the food industry? Short answer
I’ve always been interested in food and cooking, and working in the food industry seemed like a natural fit. I’ve always enjoyed trying new foods and experimenting with different recipes, so working in the food industry allows me to do that on a daily basis. Plus, I love being around people and working with a team, so the food industry is the perfect place for me.
2. What was the first recipe you ever developed?
The first recipe I ever developed was a healthy version of macaroni and cheese. I wanted to create a recipe that was both nutritious and delicious, so I used whole wheat pasta, reduced-fat cheese, and plenty of veggies. The result was a dish that was both healthy and flavorful, and it quickly became one of my family’s favorite recipes.
3. What’s your favorite thing to cook at home?
My favorite thing to cook at home is anything that is quick and easy. I love recipes that can be made in one pot or pan, and I always try to use fresh ingredients. One of my recent favorite recipes is a One-Pot Chicken and Rice dish that can be made in less than 30 minutes.
4. What’s your favorite food trend?
My favorite food trend right now is plant-based eating. I love finding new ways to incorporate vegetables into my diet, and I think that the plant-based movement is helping to change the way people think about food. I’m also a big fan of alternative proteins, like beans and lentils, which are becoming more popular as people look for meat-free options.
5. What’s your favorite kitchen tool?
My favorite kitchen tool is my immersion blender. I use it to make soup, smoothies, and sauces, and I love how easy it is to use. It’s also a great way to get started with healthy cooking since it can be used to make healthy versions of classic recipes.
